Tiki Rooms are accessible by your own car or by rental car, which we can arrange for you to pick you up from wherever you want (airport, port, etc.) on request.
BUS
Samos puplic bus service has 20 buses to serve the island. You can catch the bus, which stops 300 metres away from Tiki Rooms whether you come to us or schedule visits to other villages of Samos, Tourist resorts, monuments, beaches etc.

BY BOAT
Samos has 4 ports in Karlovasi (20 km from Tiki rooms) in Vathi (48 km from Tiki rooms) in Pythagorio (35km from Tiki Rooms) in Ormos (3km from Tiki Rooms) and it is connected with the following ports in Greece: Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Chios, Fournoi, Ikaria, Kalymnos, Kavala, Kos, Leros, Lesvos, Limnos, Lipsoi, Paros, Naxos, Patmos, Rhodes, Turkey.The routes and the ports to and from Samos change depending on the season.

The airport of Samos is located in the southeastern part of the island, 33km away from Tiki rooms and it is connected to many domestic and overseas airports. The flights from and to Samos change depending on the season.

PITHAGORAS CAVE
At the foot of Mount Kerkis and according to the story the philosopher Pythagoras resorted to this cave to hide at the time when he was persecuted by the tyrant Polycrates because the latter had accused him of trying to corrupt the young people of Samos.
TEMPLE OF HERA
3 km west of Pythagoreio, lies the most important temple of Samos and one of the most significant throughout Greece. The Temple of Hera is dedicated to the goddess Hera, wife of Zeus, the king of the twelve gods of Olympus.
EFPALINIO ORYGMA
2 km away from Pythagoreio there is an ancient tunnel cited by Herodotus as the “double-edged trench” which is known today as the ‘Efpalinio Orygma’ and it was named after the renowned engineer Eupalinos who designed and built it.
TOWER OF LYKOURGOS
In Pythagoreio, the tower can be accessed on foot too. It was built in 1824 by Lycurgus Logothetis who was the leader of the revolutionaries of Samos in 1821. In this way, he wanted to have a strong fortress that would protect the rebels and the residents from the Turks.
TOWER OF SARAKINIS
It is located 8 km western to Pythagoreio near the archaeological site of Heraion . Nicholas Sarakinis was the ship captain of the fleet of the Turkish Admiral Kilitz Ali Pasha , whom he helped decisively with the resettlement of Samos in the late 16th century . Thus, showing his gratitude Kilitz Ali Pasha donated to Nicholas Sarakinis large tracts of land in Heraion area. Because of the time conditions and the fear of pirate attacks Sarakinis built a fortress tower whose construction was completed circa 1577. It was named after him.
TARSANAS IN ST. ISIDOROS
It is situated 5 km away from Kallithea. The shipyard of St. Isidore once consisted of many small autonomous shipbuilding and repair units. Later, it remained only one old shipwright, the well-known throughout the region, Psilapatis. who continues the ancient art of wood
Today, the ancient art of wood is continued by two sons of another family.
ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Downtown Samos.
a) The Old Museum, built in 1912 and formerly housing the ”Paschaleion Archives”.
b) The New Museum.It opened in June 1987 and houses a collection of archaic sculpture. It was built at ‘VOLKSWAGEN’ cultural foundation expense.
Opening Hours: Tuesday – Sunday from 8:30am to 5:00 pm. Monday: Closed.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF PYTHAGORΕION
In Pythagoreio.
The museum has 3000 exhibits.
The museum contains exhibits of ancient columns, portraits of Roman emperors, impressive
outfits that the ladies of the upper class used to wear, pottery etc. (9th century BC – 2nd century BC).
Opening hours: 1 April-31 October Tuesday – Sunday (09.00-16.00).

HISTORICAL AND FOLKLORE MUSEUM OF KARLOVASI
In Karlovasi.
It opened in 1994. The exhibits cover a period that extends from 1870 until 1955 and show the everyday life of both the thriving urban class and the rural population on the island.

FOLKLORE MUSEUM PYTHAGOREΙO (Dimitriou Foundation)
In Pythagoreio.
Exhibits represent everyday life in Samos prior to 1940.
To date, some of the exhibits which you can see in the museum can be encountered in the villages of Samos.

Kampos is a tourist resort. During the summer you can find many restaurants , fish restaurants, taverns , traditional Greek souvlaki restaurants and pizzerias that love traditional Greek cuisine.
Regarding entertainment, you can find cafes , bars , clubs with Greek , foreign or live music where you can enjoy youselves until very late at night or you can simply relax by enjoying a cocktail with a view of the sea .
All the above can be found along the coast of the village as you enjoy your stroll. Υou will definitely find something to suit your taste!
